Henning Schwarze

I am a professional eco-geographer with international experience in environmental assessments, ecosystem management and sustainable tourism development, supported by a good knowledge of physio-geography, ecology and man-made and natural disaster research. Experienced as a consultant in natural world heritage, cartography, GIS, GPS, information technology, social media, web design, far distance learning and biodiversity conservation. Since 2001 I am working as a consultant to UNESCO. In 2005 I became the Managing Partner of INTEWO | World Habitat Society GmbH, a company which I founded together with colleagues from the University of Paderborn, Germany. INTEWO focus on environment, tourism and education for sustainable development. I consider myself to be a multi location citizen. You can find me in Schlangen (Germany), Bahir Dar (Ethiopia) and Muscat (Oman).
